Samsung Galaxy S5 is the flagship mobile of Samsung. Samsung is rolling out the Android Lollipop update to its Samsung Galaxy S5. If you are using the galaxy S5 with Lollipop installed then you can see that there is no silence mode. Usually, Android devices have 3 modes: Sound, Vibrate and Silent. But in the Samsung Galaxy S5 with lollipop there is only Sound and Vibrate mode. There is no blocking mode too. But how to enable silent mode and block mode?
Without silent mode, I felt hard to manage. I usually leave my Phone on silence while I sleep or while I blog because I don’t like any disturbance. so let’s see a way to enable silence mode.
How to enable silence mode in Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop
1. Open the Notification center in your Galaxy S5 and open all the switches. (By swiping from up to down with two fingers)
2. Click on this below switch(all).
You will be Shown a Message a Message as Priority Interruptions Only.
This will function as Silent mode and will allow only events and reminders.
Note: You can configure this in settings. Settings>Sound and Notifications>Interruptions.
How to enable blocking mode in Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop
If you tap the star the Star icon again (After enabling Priority Interruptions only) or else you can press the All switch twice, you will be shown a message as No Interruptions. This will function as Blocking Mode. No Notification will get through.
